Biography
James Gray, MD, is a cardiologist with fellowship training in integrative holistic medicine. His specialties include integrative cardiology, preventive medicine, general cardiology, lipid management and cardiac rehabilitation. Dr. Gray believes in a holistic approach to health and healing, as well as the importance of preventing disease and illness.
Dr. Gray joined Scripps Clinic in 2014 and performs a wide range of cardiac procedures and services, including permanent pacemaker implantation, diagnostic coronary angiography, right heart catheterization, transesophageal echocardiography, adult echocardiography and stress testing.
Strong, patient-centered care is the cornerstone of Dr. Gray’s practice and he encourages patients to be their own best advocate for their health care and well-being.
His goal is to educate his patients about their health and the best treatment options for their condition. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gray has a special interest in studying comprehensive lifestyle change programs and exercise rehabilitation in patients with heart failure.
When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Gray enjoys playing the saxophone, painting and horseback riding.
